Professor in the Department of Agroecology and Biometeorology at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, Czech Republic
Josef has been involved in a leading role with 15 national and international projects. Among the international projects are the SIGMEA (Sustainable Introduction of GMOs into European Agriculture) in 2002 to 2006 and the PRICE (Practical Implementation of Coexistence in Europe) in 2011 to 2014, which have focused on sustainability of GM crop use in European conditions and co-existence with organic and conventional production systems.
